Owen is scheduled for yet another procedure tomorrow for stretching his esophagus and patching the hole. Melissa and him will have to leave the house bright and early for a 6:00am surgery. We have been through this so many times it is hard to be excited for positive results. Maybe will be get a positive surprise!
Tomorrow is Ansley and Elliot's last day of school. Iris has school this week and next. She is scheduled for her surgery one week from tomorrow. Like the title says, Busy Month of May.
Owen is still thriving (minus the medical issues). He went to the doctor earlier this week for a standard check up with the family doctor and he weighed 24 pounds! Up from a starting point of 17 pounds when he came home.
Please pray for Iris and Owen both as we need healing!
This is our story for bringing our beautiful daughter home from China. We hope you enjoy the journey with us and share in our love for this awesome child God is placing in our family. The story continues as now we are adding a sweet little boy to our family as well. Now the story continues (again) with our next adoption. Not sure of who God will place in our family but we are moving forward and know He has already decided and we will soon find out.
The Red Thread
Once our eyes have been opened we can't pretend that
we don't know what to do; for God who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls
knows that we know and holds us responsible to act. Proverbs 24:12

Hoping and praying all went well today!
