The Red Thread

Once our eyes have been opened we can't pretend that
we don't know what to do; for God who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls
knows that we know and holds us responsible to act. Proverbs

Fitting In

It is hard to remember when Iris wasn't part of the family. It seems like she has always been here.

She will not let the older kids out do her on anything.

If they are riding scooters, then by golly so is she.

She doesn't let a little thing like a bump on the head slow her down

  1. Those are the three best looking kids I have ever seen. The mom is pretty awesome too.

Iris has been such a blessing to our family. Ansley and Elliot are so loving (even though Iris bothers them some) and I can see God dwelling in each of them. There are times when they do not include Iris in things but I can see this has nothing to do with them loving her.

Elliot gets frustrated at times with her but then he will say a prayer for her at bed time. It is amazing to see and feel the love they have for her.

It is very hard to remember when Iris was not part of the family!

I love you Ansley, Elliot, and Iris!

  2. Hi,
I can't believe how much Iris has changed in three months! She looks so grown up! We can't remember what our family was like without Parker either. He is just the happiest little man in the world!

  4. Thanks so much for the update! Iris is so beautiful. I am so glad to hear how well she's doing. Madeline's transition has been waaay smoother than we ever could've hoped for. And boy is she fiesty! Patrick still has one of the photos from the clothing donation as his screen saver on one of his laptops. So we get to see Iris, Madeline, and their 2 friends all the time. :)
