It is hard to remember when Iris wasn't part of the family. It seems like she has always been here.
This is our story for bringing our beautiful daughter home from China. We hope you enjoy the journey with us and share in our love for this awesome child God is placing in our family. The story continues as now we are adding a sweet little boy to our family as well. Now the story continues (again) with our next adoption. Not sure of who God will place in our family but we are moving forward and know He has already decided and we will soon find out.

Once our eyes have been opened we can't pretend that
we don't know what to do; for God who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls
knows that we know and holds us responsible to act. Proverbs 24:12

Those are the three best looking kids I have ever seen. The mom is pretty awesome too.
ReplyDeleteIris has been such a blessing to our family. Ansley and Elliot are so loving (even though Iris bothers them some) and I can see God dwelling in each of them. There are times when they do not include Iris in things but I can see this has nothing to do with them loving her.
Elliot gets frustrated at times with her but then he will say a prayer for her at bed time. It is amazing to see and feel the love they have for her.
It is very hard to remember when Iris was not part of the family!
I love you Ansley, Elliot, and Iris!

Hi,
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how much Iris has changed in three months! She looks so grown up! We can't remember what our family was like without Parker either. He is just the happiest little man in the world!

Oh my goodness, Iris is so darn cute!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the update! Iris is so beautiful. I am so glad to hear how well she's doing. Madeline's transition has been waaay smoother than we ever could've hoped for. And boy is she fiesty! Patrick still has one of the photos from the clothing donation as his screen saver on one of his laptops. So we get to see Iris, Madeline, and their 2 friends all the time. :)
ReplyDeleteHey! I just wanted to tell you that no, not Helen, but Kelly who was at the same camp. Though we are so thankful that Helen has found her family! Your family is beautiful!
