The Red Thread

Once our eyes have been opened we can't pretend that
we don't know what to do; for God who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls
knows that we know and holds us responsible to act. Proverbs

It Is Almost Christmas

Today we are turning our blog on so we can share our adoption with others. So far we have waited to turn it live as we want to make sure everything is set. Our adoption agency called Thursday night and told us our Dosseir would be sent to China on Friday. Hopefully this means we only have to wait for an invitation to travel.

We have been posting for a while so please read our story and join us in our adventure.

Christmas is later this week but it is hard to get into the spirit as Iris will not be with us. It seems like it can not be complete knowing one of our children is not here to enjoy the season with us. It is amasing how you can love someone so much and not have ever held them.

Hopefully Iris received the presents we sent and the video we made. Our hope is that she knows she is loved and she will soon have a family.

We received two new pictures of her this past week. She looks precious. We are very thankful we have several pictures of her.

  1. 1 John 5:1-3 (NIV) Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well.
She is so precious and God made her so wonderfully! I pray the Lord will strengthen both your souls and you will lean on Him completely through this exciting, yet anxious, journey. Keep looking forward for He is true to His plans and He will not waiver. We have already witnessed the power of His mighty hands in so many ways. Keep trusting in Him and hold tight to His words....His purpose and plans for your family will bring Iris home to all of us!
