I have been in Seattle for a few days and returned to a sick house. All four kids are sick! Melissa had to take Ansley to see a doctor tonight and they determined she has an ear infection. They put her on antibiotics. This is the first time in her 10 year life she has ever had antibiotics or prescription medicine of any kind. The doctor (not her regular doctor) could not believe she has never taken any medications.
Iris is running a fever and Elliot is acting like he is starting to come down with something.
Owen was sick yesterday but seems to be better today. He is scheduled for an esophagus stretching tomorrow morning so we are hoping he has a good night and the other three have not contaminated him! This stretching is the last procedure before his big surgery on August 6 (re-scheduled to Aug 6 a few days ago).
Hopefully Melissa and I can fight off the sickness...... stay tuned.
This is our story for bringing our beautiful daughter home from China. We hope you enjoy the journey with us and share in our love for this awesome child God is placing in our family. The story continues as now we are adding a sweet little boy to our family as well. Now the story continues (again) with our next adoption. Not sure of who God will place in our family but we are moving forward and know He has already decided and we will soon find out.

we don't know what to do; for God who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls
knows that we know and holds us responsible to act. Proverbs 24:12

So sorry to hear that! We had something similar go through our house a couple weeks ago; Sarah ended up spending July 4th in the E.R. at our local Children's Hospital with Hannah because of a bad, double ear infection. Anyhow, were parying you all get better!
